Sketches interface has been designed from the ground up with styluses in mind and the tools all support pressure. They can also be saved separately in PNG format. Because beautiful tools make beautiful drawings, we endlessly refined Sketches brushes to create the most realistic drawing and painting tools. Its operation is very similar to programs like Photoshop and can be vital to prevent certain errors and work in a much more comfortable way. This function is available in this app, being able to work with up to 4 layers at the same time. Tayasui Sketches Pro logo shown by apple pencil on the iPad Pro tablet screen. If there is something that makes any graphic design application professional, that is the possibility of working with layers. We also have other instruments that may be useful, such as rules, preset forms or text. Of course, all drawing tools have at their disposal a complete color range with which we can choose the exact color we want to give our painting. In the end, what it does is allow us to have spectacular results. The range of possibilities it offers is very wide, being able to also edit the brushes to your liking and fine-tuning the work thanks to the pressure sensitivity with the Apple Pencil. However, all of them stand out for being tremendously realistic, be they brushes, pens, pens, pencils, markers and even waxes. It would be practically impossible to mention all the drawing tools available to Tayausi Sketches, especially if we buy the ‘Pro’ version. Inside the sheets is where the drawing tools appear, which we analyze in the next section. There is also the possibility of saving them as photos or PDF, so that viewing is much easier. This is because as soon as we access we can see all the sheets of drawings already made, finding the possibility of adding a new sheet in the first position.Īlso from the home interface we can select our works to edit, delete or share them with our friends, family or contacts through messaging services or social networks. If you like Paper and want another sketch app for the iPad that looks and acts like Paper but with a slightly different set of tools, check out Tayasui Sketches. In this case we find a very similar interface, as we have already highlighted, to what would be a paper pad. When we analyze applications we usually look closely at the interface, since it is after all what often makes us opt for one or the other app. Since iPad Pro is trending, I'm resharing my drawing 'Two men discuss the four Mengzian sprouts and the seven emotions', entirely done electronically (but no AI help) with Tayasui sketches (I saw this scene in Bukchon Hanok village, Seoul). It is not essential to use Apple Pencil to use it, but obviously it will be more versatile to have it available. Tayasui Sketches is available for free from the iOS App Store.Broadly speaking, it is an application that in a way reminds of a classic paper drawing pad, since both design and tools and functions could be. It would be wonderful to be able to group your individual sketches into a notebook to organize them. About the only thing missing from the app is support for notebooks. The sketch is essentially a pencil drawing with shadi. You can even tweak the colors using a level tool that'll let you get the right hue, saturation and brightness. One of the coolest features for me in Tayasui Sketches is the ability to tilt the pencil when shading. You can also draw a shape and fill it in with a pattern in one or two taps. It's great for adding a wrinkle to a forehead or the veins on a leaf. Because beautiful tools make beautiful drawings, Sketches has the most beautiful brushes ever seen in an Android App. First and foremost is the ability to zoom in on the canvas and add small details to a drawing. Drawing your first sketches digitally on the iPad eliminates the need to scan them into digital processing software later. Sketches may look simple on the surface, but there are a few key features that make the app a useful tool for serious sketchers and not just child's play. Besides the new tools, the pro version also gives you the ability to change the size and opacity of your tool tip. You can use a US$1.99 in-app purchase to buy the complete set of 12 tools and their interchangeable tips. Sketches includes six drawing tools, one fill tool and one eraser to get you started. Sketches reminds me of an artist's workbench with a canvas in the middle and a handful of tools neatly arranged on the side. The app landed in the iOS App Store earlier this month and rivals Paper as one of the best easy-to-use sketchbook apps. Casual artists looking to expand their sketching skills to the iPad should take a close look at Tayasui Sketches.
